Reverend C. T. Vivian

C. T. Vivian was an SCLC strategist, pastor, and later a Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient. Though listed here with a later alma mater, he spent a lifetime in the movement that HBCU campuses helped staff.

SCLC executive and veteran of Nashville sit-ins and Selma.
Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient.
Inducted into the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame in 2014.
