Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Marvin Brailsford and Mrs. June Brailsford

Lt. Gen. Marvin D. Brailsford, a distinguished military graduate of Prairie View A&M, retired in 1992 as deputy commanding general of the U.S. Army Materiel Command after 33 years, including Gulf War logistics. June E. Brailsford has been honored with him for a lifetime of service, music, and education in their communities.

Prairie View A&M distinguished military graduate with later study at Iowa State, Harvard’s Kennedy School, and the Army War College.
Inducted into the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame in 2025 for Lifetime Achievement.
