Hon. Damon J. Keith

Damon J. Keith, a West Virginia State University graduate, was a judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. His opinions on government secrecy and civil liberties, including the “Democracy dies in the dark” line, became widely cited.
