Gena Hudgins Ashe is a Spelman College valedictorian (mathematics) who became an engineer, then a senior corporate lawyer and board director. She has held legal leadership roles at IBM, AT&T, PBS, Darden, and Adtalem, and has served as a Spelman trustee.
