William E. Bennett, a Lincoln University of Pennsylvania graduate, is a biomedical scientist and former senior federal executive. After degrees from Temple and the University of Pennsylvania and postdoctoral work at Rockefeller under Fritz Lipmann, he published influential immunology research and later led public-health work at HHS.
