About
Dr. SanYvette Williams-Foy of Tuscaloosa earned her B.S. at Alabama A&M in 1983 and her DVM at Tuskegee in 1988. She served as a U.S. Public Health Service veterinarian, later as a senior veterinary officer detailed to EPA, and as a small-business owner working at the intersection of human, animal, and environmental health.
Accomplishments
More than 30 years in veterinary public health, including USPHS Commissioned Corps service.
EPA senior veterinary officer work on pesticide risk assessment and registration guidance.
Inducted into the NBCA Hall of Fame in 2023 in Medicine.
