Dr. Henry Ponder

Henry Ponder, a Langston University graduate, served as president of Benedict College, Fisk University, and Talladega College and later as president of the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education.

President of Benedict, Fisk, and Talladega.
Later led NAFEO, the HBCU presidents’ association.
Inducted into the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame in 2000.
