Donald Hollowell, a Lane College alumnus, was the Atlanta civil-rights lawyer who helped desegregate the University of Georgia and represented Martin Luther King Jr. and other movement clients across the South.

Counsel in Holmes v. Danner, admitting Hamilton Holmes and Charlayne Hunter to UGA.
Leading Atlanta movement attorney.
Inducted into the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame in 1996.
