Driving Opportunity On and Off the Course

The Thomas W. Dortch, Jr. HBCU Golf Classic is one of the nation’s longest-running NCAA-sanctioned invitationals dedicated to Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Held in partnership with the Black College Golf Coaches Association, the tournament brings together HBCU men’s and women’s golf teams from across the country to compete on a national stage while showcasing the talent, discipline, and excellence of student-athletes.

The Classic is an investment in the future of HBCU athletics—creating opportunities for competition, visibility, scholarships, and strategic partnerships that strengthen collegiate golf and expand pathways for student-athletes.
