Ed Bradley (1941–2006) graduated from Cheyney State College in 1964 with a degree in education and became one of America’s defining broadcast journalists. He spent 7 years as a correspondent on CBS’s 60 Minutes. He is honored posthumously.
Accomplishments
- 26 seasons on 60 Minutes; 21 Emmy Awards, plus duPont and Peabody honors.
- Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Association of Black Journalists.
- Inducted posthumously into the NBCA Hall of Fame in 2023 in Arts & Entertainment.
