Cookies
This website uses cookies in two ways. A cookie is a small text file stored on your browser.
Choice cookie
When you allow or decline analytics, we store that choice in a first-party cookie named nbca_consent. It lasts about six months. It records only the choice you made. It is not sent to Google, and it is not used to identify you.
Google Analytics cookies
If you allow analytics, the site loads Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC. Google then sets cookies whose names begin with _ga. Those cookies can remain on your browser for up to two years. They hold a randomly generated identifier for the browser, not your name.
With those cookies, Google Analytics sends the Foundation reports about:
- pages visited and the path a visit takes through the site
- the date and time of a visit, and whether that browser has been here before
- the website that referred the visit, when that information is available
- general location, such as a city or region, derived from the network address
- browser type, device type, and screen size
Google Analytics 4 does not give the Foundation a visitor’s name, email address, or phone number. A repeat visit is recognized by the cookie identifier. Network addresses are used to estimate location and are not stored by Google Analytics 4.
We use these reports to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not sell this information, and these cookies are not used to show you ads.
Google processes the analytics data under its own privacy policy and cookie information. You can also install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.
Changing your choice
Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to allow or decline analytics cookies. If you decline, the site stops sending analytics and removes the Google Analytics cookies it can delete from this browser. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The public pages of this site remain available if you decline.
