Freeman Holifield, Sr.

Freeman Holifield Sr., an Alabama A&M University alumnus and Army veteran, was among the first African American officers of the Huntsville Police Department and later held senior roles in federal service. The Foundation honored him for a career that moved from campus to civic leadership in North Alabama.
