About
Dr. SanYvette Williams-Foy of Tuscaloosa earned her B.S. at Alabama A&M in 1983 and her DVM at Tuskegee in 1988. She served as a U.S. Public Health Service veterinarian, later as a senior veterinary officer detailed to EPA, and as a small-business owner working at the intersection of human, animal, and environmental health.
Accomplishments
- More than 30 years in veterinary public health, including USPHS Commissioned Corps service.
- EPA senior veterinary officer work on pesticide risk assessment and registration guidance.
- Inducted into the NBCA Hall of Fame in 2023 in Medicine.
