Donald Hollowell, a Lane College alumnus, was the Atlanta civil-rights lawyer who helped desegregate the University of Georgia and represented Martin Luther King Jr. and other movement clients across the South.
Accomplishments
- Counsel in Holmes v. Danner, admitting Hamilton Holmes and Charlayne Hunter to UGA.
- Leading Atlanta movement attorney.
- Inducted into the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame in 1996.
