Dr. Dora S. Washington, a native of Elkton, Tennessee, earned her bachelor’s degree in English at Alabama A&M and advanced degrees from Northwestern and Indiana University in speech and speech-language pathology. She has served on state and national professional committees and on boards including Rust College’s trustees.
