Rev. Dr. Cecil Murray

Cecil “Chip” Murray, a Florida A&M University graduate, was senior pastor of First AME Church of Los Angeles during the 1992 uprising and its aftermath. He became one of the city’s most visible clergy voices on recovery and race.
