Rev. Dr. William Barber II

William J. Barber II, a North Carolina Central University graduate, rebuilt a Moral Mondays movement in North Carolina and later led Repairers of the Breach and the Poor People’s Campaign. He is one of the most visible faith voices in contemporary civil-rights work.

• Former president of the North Carolina NAACP.
• Co-chair of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival.
• Inducted into the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame in 2016.
