Originally from London, England, Nyota has lived in New York, Maryland, and now Atlanta, Georgia. Volunteering and having an impact have always been driving forces for Nyota. She keeps that passion alive by volunteering in various capacities with numerous organizations, to teach financial literacy, promote entrepreneurship, and build community. Currently, she is the Chair of the Wells Fargo Atlanta Black African-American Team Member Network.
Nyota is a compliance and finance professional at Wells Fargo Bank, where she has worked for the past 17 years. She meshed her corporate career with her entrepreneurial spirit and owns a women’s online boutique, called Frugal Chics Roc, dressing the savvy, bold, bossbabe. Nyota’s style influence includes her Caribbean, British, and New York City roots. One of her favorite looks, is a blazer, pencil skirt, and classic kicks!
Nyota holds a B.A. in Political Science from New York University and an M.B.A in Organization Management from Georgia State University. She’s a lifelong learner who enjoys reading, weightlifting, cycling, great food, traveling, all things fashion & sci-fi, as well as spending time with her greatest gift – her 21 year old son, family and friends.
