National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc Announces Quentin Roach as Chairman of the Board

Atlanta, Georgia – The National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation, inc. is proud to announce the appointment of Quentin Roach as the new Chairman of the Board. This decision comes following the passing of our esteemed Founder and Chairman, Thomas W. Dortch, Jr. Quentin, a longtime friend and dedicated board member, steps into this role with a commitment to upholding the foundation’s mission and continuing the legacy of excellence set forth by Mr. Dortch.

As Chairman of the Board, Quentin brings a wealth of strategic business experience and a deep understanding of the foundation’s values and objectives. He has been an integral part of the organization, serving on the board for several years and actively contributing to its growth and success. Quentin’s passion for education, community empowerment, and preserving the legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) makes him the ideal leader to guide the foundation into the future. The greater than fifteen-year friendship and brotherhood between Tommy and Quentin provides an added inspiration to move the Hall of Fame forward to greater heights..

Under Quentin’s leadership, the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation will continue to honor the achievements and contributions of outstanding individuals who have emerged from HBCUs. Through the annual Hall of Fame Inductee Awards Gala, scholarships, and community outreach initiatives, the foundation will remain steadfast in its commitment to supporting the educational endeavors of current and future HBCU students.

Quentin Roach expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve as the Chairman of the Board, saying, “The work of the Hall of Fame over the last 38 years is an exemplar of what outstanding community service, exceptional educational advancement, and inspirational leadership development looks like in HBCU and black communities ….
