Lucinda K. Conteh is a senior Business Management Major with a concentration in Finance from Ewing, New Jersey by way of Sierra Leone, West Africa and she humbly serves as the 92nd Miss Virginia State University. Lucinda formerly served on the Royal Court as Miss Sophomore 2018-2019, is a Trojan Leadership Program mentor to freshmen students, as well as the Events Coordinator and former Vice President of Virginia State University’s African Student Association. In addition to those previously listed, Lucinda is also a member of the Richmond Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants and frequently volunteers her time on campus and in her community through various acts of service.
Upon receiving her degree in May of 2021, Lucinda has accepted a full-time job offer with TD Bank in their headquarters as a Business Process Analyst. She intends on being a major advocate for the preservation of HBCUs. Being a student at an HBCU is considered one of her greatest accomplishments and serving as an HBCU Queen is an honor Lucinda holds to high regard.
