PAST INDUCTEES

The Hall of Fame honors our past inductees with all of the work they do to provide for HBCUs. Many of our inductees go on to help strong communities in the fields of education, medicine, arts/entertainment, athletics and more.

HBCU INVITATIONAL GOLF CLASSIC

The golf competition will provide an opportunity for collegiate golfers to participate in the annual NCAA sanctioned NBCA Hall of Fame Golf Tournament that raises funds in support of participating HBCU golf teams. We provide a platform for players to demonstrate their talents in a showcase that honors a rich history in collegiate competition.

CHEFS OF THE WORLD

Chefs of the World unite a constellation of legendary chefs for a worthy cause – to raise funds to support scholarships for students pursuing degrees in Culinary Arts or Hospitality.

 

SCHOLARSHIPS

The Hall of Fame is committed to the educational growth and development of African American undergraduate and graduate students attending institutions of higher learning, with preference given to those attending HBCUs. Through gifts provided by our corporate sponsors, the Hall of Fame is able to provide scholarships to deserving students.

QUEENS OF THE PAST

The focus of the Competition of Black College Queens is to provide great opportunities for these young women attending our nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and help the better prepare for the future, as well as gain self-awareness, self-confidence, individual pride, pride for their institution and a greater social awareness overall. Each of the college queens in the competition represents the leadership and reigning queen of the HBCU they represent.

THE COMPETITION OF HBCU COLLEGE QUEENS

During the Hall of Fame Weekend, attendees network with educational, civic and community leaders, participate in workshops, and salute the accomplishments and talents of past and future alumni of these national treasures. The focus for the Competition of Black College Queens is to provide an opportunity for young women attending our nations Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to better prepare for the future.

INDUCTION CEREMONY

Highlighting and honoring deserving HBCU graduates for distinguished service to their country and Alma Maters, as well as achievements in their field of endeavor. For 34 years, the Hall of Fame has celebrated inductees in the following fields: Arts & Entertainment, Athletics, Business and Industry, Civil Rights, Community Service, Education, Faith & Theology, Government & Law, Medicine, Science, Lifetime Achievement and the Chairman’s Award.
