We celebrate our Black History by highlighting some of the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fames distinguished list of over 300 Hall of Famers who have been enshrined into the Hall of Fame since 1986: including such notables as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Dr. Benjamin E. Mays, Walter Payton, Leontyne Price, Chief Justice Thurgood Marshall, Oprah Winfrey, Ambassador Andrew Young, Will Packard and Nancy Wilson.

The Hall of Fame is a 501 (c) 3 dedicated to the growth and development of the nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

The National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation continues its mission to be a catalyst to serve as a catalyst and partner for ensuring the stability, strength and excellence of the nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Our aim is to advance the reality that HBCUs are valuable treasures and critical resources that help transform the seeds of potentiality into the fruits of possibility.
