The Legacy of Leaders Alumni Awards is a gathering of very active alumni of HBCU’s where they can reconnect and also be rewarded for their efforts throughout the year. Awards such as National Alumni Association of the Year are given out to commend alumni on their hardworking efforts. This event is usually held during Hall of Fame Weekend on Friday morning.
Awards are given in the following categories: National Alumni Director of the Year, Distinguished Alumnus, National Alumni President of the Year, Small Chapter of the Year, Large Chapter of the Year, National Alumni Association of the Year, Emerging Leader, Chairman’s Award

The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony highlights and honors deserving HBCU graduates for their distinguished service to their country, Alma Mater and excelling in their field of endeavor. For more than 33 years, the Hall of Fame has celebrated inductees in the following fields: Arts & Entertainment, Athletics, Business and Industry, Community Service, Civil Rights, Education, Faith and Theology, Government & Law, Medicine, Science, Lifetime Achievement and the Chairman’s Award. The Chairman Award is a special celebration of achievements.
